• Why should I pay for data when it’s free on the internet?

  Quality data is critical when undertaking technical analysis. Data that is not maintained for corporate actions such as delisting, splits, consolidations, dilutions, mergers, code changes, name changes, deferred settlement, and capital returns, could give you a false buy or sell signal resulting in a very expensive mistake.

• What makes the Bourse Data End of Day Data so good?

  Bourse Data End of Day Data is derived from Thomson Reuters Data. It is designed specifically for MetaStock trading software and is fully supported by our friendly and experienced customer care team.

• What data fields are available for a symbol?

  The data fields available are: Date, Open, High, Low, Close and Volume.

• What about historical data for in-depth technical analysis?

  The data downloader tool automatically downloads at least 10 years of data.

• What is the difference between end of day data and real-time data?

  Real time traders use intra-day data (prices that are constantly updating throughout the day) to make decisions about when to buy and sell during the trading day. End of day traders collect their data (Date, Open, High, Low, Close and Volume for the day) after the markets have closed.

• When is the End of Day Data available?

  Bourse End of Day Data for MetaStock is available three hours after market close. This allows for all close of day trades and adjustments to be made so you get only the highest quality accurate data.

• How do I update my data and what if I miss a day?

  Your data will automatically update every time you run the Bourse Data End of Day Data Downloader. If you miss a day, there is an option within the Bourse Data EOD Data Downloader to start your download from a specific date of your choice.
